UMKC Bookstore
Owned and operated by the University of Missouri, the UMKC bookstore provides a wide array of educational materials and a variety of services. Required and recommended text books are immediately available, as well as numerous supplemental materials. Other services include text book reservations, text book buy back, Graduation fairs etc.
Need something special to show your college spirit? Come browse through a large selection of UMKC clothing and gifts. The technology division of the bookstore- Roo Tech is a one stop answer to all technology and computer necessities. All UMKC students are automatically eligible for special savings on technology hardware, software and supplies.

Campus Information Center :
Located at the south entrance the Campus Information center provides general campus information, event and meeting information. You can also get class schedules and a wide variety of other information here such as UMKC bus schedules, campus maps etc.
It also serves as the lost and found for the university. The campus information center is also responsible for the issuing the UMKC ID cards, which is the official identification for students, faculty, staff, and other members of the UMKC community. The UMKC student ID card provides access to university facilities, services. It also allows students to charge purchases made at the bookstore to their student account.

Student Life Office :
The student life office provides services and programs that are responsive to student development , including the social cultural , recreational , educational , intellectual and life long learning needs of the campus and surrounding community. The student life office is responsible for the administration of communiversity , Greek organizations , and campus programs including leadership workshops, campus traditions , community service, and fiscal advising for all UMKC student organizations .
A complete and up to date list of the organizations, their officers and purposes can be obtained from the student life office. Joining an organization can be as simple as dropping into a meeting or calling the president of the organization.

Office of Multicultural Student Affairs :
The mission of the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs is to improve the quality of the college experience for students of color. The office serves multicultural students at UMKC by maintaining an open door policy, advising student organizations, engaging in one-on-one counseling, and facilitating in fostering the growth and development of multicultural students by implementing educational, social, and cultural programming. The aim is to assist multicultural students in achieving their educational goals and to encourage student involvement in the academic and social systems of college life.
In an effort to promote celebration of cultural diversity on campus, ongoing educational and cultural programs have been designed to increase levels of awareness, participation and understanding of and an appreciation for the historical and cultural heritage of our multicultural students. Such programs are presented and co-sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs.

Activity & Program Council :
The activity and program council is the student programming board of UMKC . APC provides dozens of programs every semester that are geared to the diverse student body of UMKC. APC organizes educational and entertainment events including welcome week , Roo Fair , Talent show, Court warming and more!

LGBT Office :
The LGBT Office creates and encourages a campus culture where diversity, access and equality for all are welcomed, supported and promoted. They support the vision, mission and values of UMKC by enabling campus and community members to live the core values of diversity, inclusiveness and respect.
Additional functions of the organization include providing educational programs and activities about lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, ally topics and to advocate fairness and respect for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and all students, faculty, and staff.

The office of services for students with disabilities assists with providing academic accommodations on a campus wide basis. Students who have disability related questions or concerns, or who are requesting services from UMKC should contact the office as soon as possible.

School of Medicine, Year 1 & 2 Academic & Student Affairs Office:
Responsibilities include academic advising for both undergraduate and graduate degrees as well as scheduling and registration guidance for students. Office staff serves as a resource for student needs such as personal counseling and academic development. They maintain student records and implement academic and administrative policies of the governing councils of the School of Medicine.
This office acts as communication liaison with university personnel, docents, students and the health care community. The office coordinates programs including Year 1 summer orientation registration sessions, fall orientation, convocation, white coat ceremony, and various student activities.

Computer Lab :
A computer Lab maintain by the information services is located in the lower level of the university center. The computer lab is equipped with 25 PCs , printers and scanners. Students would need their SSO ( Single sign on user ID and password ) to log on to computers.
