UM System Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol (URD@C)

Call for nominations

Student research ambassadors from each of the four UM campuses present their work in a poster display in the Rotunda for state legislators, staff, lobbyists, and the general public.  The participating students must be nominated by their faculty mentors--the students should have excellent communication skills, and they should be able to explain to a lay audience how their work is of significance to the state and people of Missouri.

Mentors should submit the names of any nominated students, along with a brief letter of recommendation, to Dr. Murowchick, Director of SEARCH (c/o Department of Geosciences, 420 Flarsheim Hall) by October 15, 2009.  Up to 10 students may be selected from each campus.
