UMKC offers a test preparation program for the June, August, and October PCAT exams.
This program is open to both UMKC students and non-students.
The classes are designed to familiarize students with the format of the test, and to provide them with strategies and techniques for approaching the different sections of the PCAT. A diagnostic test, take-home practice questions, and simulated PCAT test provide feedback to the students and their instructors.
It is strongly recommended that students have completed, or be currently enrolled in, college level courses in Biology, Chemistry, and Math before taking this class.
The fee of $350 includes all class materials, and is due on the first day of class. Payment can be by check, money order, or credit card. No cash please.
Applicants should:
- have at least a 2.8 cumulative GPA.
- plan to take the PCAT soon after completing the class.
- be able to attend all class sessions.
