Student Health & Wellness is staffed by nurse pratitioners (NP), registered nurses, a pharmacist, a health educator and administrative personnel. Physician consultation is available as needed and a physician is present weekly for counsultaiton.

An NP is a nurse with advanced graduate education in assessment and treatment of acute and chronic illness. An NP can assess, diagnose and treat acute illnesses and stable chronic illnesses and can prescribe medication as needed for these illnesses.
