In appreciation of your essential role, we encourage you to attend one of the upcoming UMKC Wellness Fairssponsored by Healthy for Life: T.E. Atkins UM Wellness Program:

Wednesday, November 4, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. in Pierson Auditorium, University Center (Volker Campus) or

Thursday, November 5, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Rooms 4301 and 4302, Health Sciences Building (Hospital Hill Campus)

The Wellness Fair will provide you with important health screenings and access to information about health and wellness services. After receiving your screenings, you can turn in your wellness fair checklist and enroll in free or low-cost wellness programs offered by Healthy for Life. Supervisors are asked to be flexible with schedules and encourage faculty and staff to attend the fair. Please contact the Wellness Program with any questions at (816) 235-6418.

The Office of Faculty and Staff Benefits is sponsoring seasonal flu shot clinics for faculty and staff during both Wellness Fairs, as well as special times before and/or after the fairs. Flu shots are available 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Nov. 4, in Room 117, University Center, and 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., November 5, in Room 4302, Health Sciences Building. The vaccine vendor has informed the Office of Faculty and Staff Benefits that sufficient vaccine supply will be available to support both flu shot clinics. Coventry enrollees can receive the seasonal flu shot at no charge with their Coventry card, and non-Coventry enrollees can receive the vaccine for $26.
