The SI Supervisor Training will be held at:

Single or double rooms are available at the Intercontinental Hotel for $159.00 (plus tax) per night. The Intercontinental Hotel is approximately one mile west of the UMKC campus. Be sure to indicate that you will be attending the UMKC SI training to receive the quoted room rate.

Located in the premiere Kansas City shopping district of the Country Club Plaza, the Intercontinental Hotel is within walking distance of the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art (internationally known for its Oriental collection), over 100 restaurants, theaters, and night life attractions.
 
Kansas City is also home to a number of professional sports teams: Royals (baseball), Chiefs (football), Blades (hockey), Wizards (soccer). Because the training schedule is time intensive, you may want to plan on arriving early or staying late to allow additional time for sightseeing.
