The Strategic Planning Steering Committee, chaired by UMKC Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Gail Hackett, has been meeting monthly, beginning in October 2008. The Committee includes 27 members representing the broad base of UMKC constituents: faculty, staff, students and community members. The seven Strategic Planning working groups reflect UMKC´s historic mission areas and several others areas that are important to UMKC´s mission.
