Rebecca Bailey serves as the Program Coordinator for the UMKC Coaching
Program. She has been with the program from its inception in
May 2005. She oversees the day to day operations of the
Coaching Program, including developing program content, supervising
and training the Peer Coaches and Academic Coordinators, maintaining
contact with students, and serving as an advocate for Coaching
Students both on campus and in the community.
Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Management and Finance in 2001 and earned her Master's of Science Degree in Counseling and Student Personnel in 2003, both from Oklahoma State University. She has previously held positions in Student Life and Academic Services for Student Athletes at Oklahoma State University, and with the HAWK Link Program at the University of Kansas. Rebecca's academic interests include working with underrepresented, economically disadvantaged, and first generation students; as well as increasing retention and graduation rates.
