Academic Support

The University of Missouri-Kansas City Libraries provide research facilities, resources, and services in support of academic programs of the University of Missouri-Kansas City. The UMKC Libraries are in four locations.
If you're experiencing difficulty in your math classes, the Math Resource Center is a great source for free tutoring and is also housed in the SASS Building.
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an academic assistance program that utilizes peer-assisted study sessions. SI sessions are regularly-scheduled, informal review sessions in which students compare notes, discuss readings, develop organizational tools, and predict test items. Students learn how to integrate course content and study skills while working together.
Whether you're just starting a paper or need help finishing up, the Writing Center specializes in one-on-one tutoring, ensuring that your paper is the very best it can be.
